HARSHA DAVE-DESAI

Harsha works as a Senior Manager within the Monitor Deloitte Strategy Practice focusing on Government and Public Services and leading strategic transformation across industries ranging from Mining, Agriculture, and Healthcare. She led the firm’s development in its Shared Value service offering that supports organizations to adapt their corporate strategy to create a competitive shared value advantage. Through these transformation efforts, businesses can work alongside government and social partners to create more sustainable growth in the region.

Harsha also led highly complex projects such as delivery labs to support national strategy implementation and work with multi-stakeholder groups to solve wicked problems.

Recently in Canada, She supported a large finance institution exploring microfinance products to improve financial inclusion and large ambulance care provider support primary healthcare services. I have also worked with the World Economic Forum to elevate issues in the region and provide a compelling rationale for investment.

FARAZ KHAN MBE

With over 25 years of experience in multi-stakeholder investments, ESG Policy and impact development, Faraz is the CEO and Partner of SpectrEco-a technology, data and advisory firm that simplifies and accelerates sustainability and ESG transitions. He leads a team of European, British and US experts for the sustainable transition of Hospitality, Real Estate and Infrastructure sectors, leveraging innovative data and tech solutions and deep sectoral knowledge, across regulatory jurisdictions

Additionally, Faraz is the founder and Director of Social, Entrepreneurship & Equity Development (SEED) Ventures, an investment and impact development organisation in emerging markets, Over the past decade, he has transformed the group from an idea to a sustainable organisation, achieving a turnover of $150 million for SEED and its portfolio companies. With a robust base in the UK, he has forged collaborations and partnerships at local and global levels across various sectors, including public, private, development, media, academia, and finance.

Faraz has utilised these partnerships to raise multi-million-dollar funds through innovative investment strategies, employing vehicles such as corporate impact venturing, blended finance, co-investments, and public-private partnerships.

He has also spearheaded impactful programmes and collaborations in areas like inclusive education, enterprise, social enterprise for youth, women, and Bottom of the Pyramid (BOP) segments, thereby impacting and engaging over 100,000 individuals. He has co-authored social enterprise legislation and actively collaborates with the several governments to develop policies and legislation, creating a conducive environment for social Impact and ESG transitions.

Faraz holds the position of Visiting Professor (Social Enterprise, Innovation & Policy) at St. Mary’s University, Twickenham, UK.

He is on the advisory board of Lincoln business school and ICCIA among many others.

In 2023, he was awarded and conferred an MBE by King Charles III and the Government of the United Kingdom, in recognition of his services to strengthen UK-Pakistan relationships in the fields of social impact, ESG, and climate advocacy.

He Regularly features on BBC & global media including Bloomberg , Forbes, Impact insider , Arab news , Khaleej times , Independant , The Guardian, NYSE, business recorder & Dawn and is considered to be a thought leader on climate action, ESG Policy & investments.
