The event will take place from 3pm – 6pm on Wednesday 21st August at the renowned Mumtaz Restaurant – hosted by CSC UK Alumni Dr Mohammed Ali OBE (1992) and Dr Mohammed Sattar (2023).
Talks by each of the speakers on the subject of Leadership in a Diverse Britain will be followed by an open discussion. Then we will get to enjoy a delicious Mumtaz dinner and an opportunity for networking.

Prof Adeeba Malik CBE DL
Adeeba is the Deputy Chief Executive of QED and has been with the organisation for over 30 years. Previously she was a teacher in Hull and Bradford. She has held numerous ministerial and non-ministerial roles on various boards in Bradford, Yorkshire, and nationally. She is on the Strategic Race Boar at the Home Office, a Member of the State Honours Committee and board member of the Bradford Culture Company responsible for Bradford UK City of Culture 2025.
She is a Deputy Lieutenant for West Yorkshire. Adeeba received the MBE in 2004 and the CBE in 2015 and is currently appointed as High Sheriff of West Yorkshire. Adeeba was awarded honorary doctorate by Bradford University in 2024.
Prof Uduak Archibong PhD MBE
Uduak Archibong PhD MBE is Pro Vice-Chancellor, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Professor of Diversity at the University of Bradford where she directs the Centre for Inclusion and Diversity and provides strategic oversight for equality and diversity across the institution. She is a Fellow of the West African College of Nursing and a Fellow of the Royal College of Nursing. She is at the forefront of transforming organisational culture for sustainable diversity and inclusion approaches.
Her research has provided a unique international definition of positive action and application for representational and participative diversity. Her research, teaching, and knowledge transfer activities broadly cover the areas of workforce diversity, diversity-competent leadership development, family-centred health care and cross-cultural negotiation of community access to health and social services.
Philip White
After completing an MSc in Software Engineering, Phil held several senior technology positions in financial trading & risk management before founding Audacia.
As the MD of Audacia, Phil is responsible for setting the overall strategy and culture at Audacia, 100 person a digital transformation company, specialising in the delivery of enterprise technology solutions across software engineering, data, AI, and cloud services.
Audacia’s work supports complex organisations across a broad range of sectors including health, manufacturing, finance, marine, and agriculture.
